Redwood Apartment Neighborhoods News
Independence, Ohio – March 19, 2021 – This spring, Redwood Living, Inc. will begin construction on its first neighborhood for Cleveland’s East Side suburbs. The highly anticipated Redwood Chardon neighborhood will include 91 single-story apartments, ranging in size from 1,294-1,381 square feet.
Redwood expects leasing to commence in late 2021, and residents to begin moving in early 2022. Monthly rent will start at $1,600.
“Since the development of our first neighborhood in 1991, we’ve expanded across the state and have established deep roots in Northeast Ohio,” said David Conwill, CEO of Redwood. “Redwood Chardon offers us an entirely new opportunity to expand our portfolio to Geauga County.”
Redwood Chardon, a nearly 20-acre neighborhood, will be located near the corner of Route 44 (Center Street) and 7th Avenue. The neighborhood will offer easy access to I-90, nearby retail, and downtown Chardon.
Each of the three floor plans available at Redwood Chardon will include two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a two-car attached garage complete with ample storage. Other enhanced amenities include personal patios, dedicated street addresses, upgraded finishes and features, pet-friendly accommodations and a welcoming neighborhood environment.
“Chardon residents will soon have access to the signature benefits that come with living in a Redwood neighborhood. Apartments feel more like home and quality construction ensures peace and quiet. Not to mention the convenience of living a maintenance-free lifestyle without the hassles of homeownership. Residents appreciate the ability to downsize but still remain close to all the things they need and enjoy,” said Conwill.
Redwood owns and manages more than 13,000 apartment homes in more than 100 neighborhoods throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, North Carolina and South Carolina.
