Redwood Canton Michigan Avenue to feature 235 new single-story apartment homes
Redwood is expanding its presence in Canton, Mich. with the addition of its second neighborhood in the area – Redwood Canton Michigan Avenue.
The neighborhood will be developed in two phases with 119 single-story apartments in phase one and 116 in phase two. Residents can choose from eight different floor plans, including Redwood’s signature two-bedroom floor plans plus new one-and three-bedroom options. Redwood Canton Michigan Avenue’s floor plans will range in size from 908 to 1,620 square feet, offering a variety of open designs to fit residents’ needs. The first residents are expected to move into phase one this October.

Residents will have easy access to I-275, as well as nearby shopping, Summit on the Park community center and Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The neighborhood entrance also connects to the Lower River Rouge Recreation Trail and is located near the ITC Corridor Trail, providing convenient access to outdoor recreation.
Hard hat tours of Redwood Canton Michigan Avenue will be offered on select days and times during construction.
