Merrillville to welcome 155 new apartment homes
A brand-new neighborhood of single-story apartments is under construction in Merrillville, Ind., by Ohio-based Redwood Living, Inc.
Each of the eight floor plans available at Redwood Merrillville will include two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Unlike traditional apartment complexes, Redwood’s signature design includes single-story open floor plans, attached two-car garages and private entrances with individual street addresses.
Upon completion, Redwood Merrillville will include 155 apartment homes. The neighborhood will be developed in two phases, with 69 apartments in the second phase. The first residents are expected to start moving into phase one by early 2025 – timing for phase two will be announced at a later date.
Apartments at Redwood Merrillville will range in size from 1,294 to 1,620 square feet and rent will start at $2,399 per month.
