Redwood developed its first neighborhood in Michigan in Lake Orion in 2013. A decade later, the company continues to expand its footprint across the state with more than 3,700 single-story apartment homes in 34 neighborhoods—and new homes being built each day. Team members also volunteer their time and talents to better their communities at organizations such as Michigan Special Olympics, White Lake Police Foundation, Toys for Tots, Gleaners Food Bank, Kent County Animal Shelter, and more. 

Since 1991, Redwood team members have rallied behind the company’s mission to reinvent the traditional apartment rental experience. Employees span the Midwest and Carolinas, developing and managing the company’s growing portfolio of single-story apartment homes. In Michigan, Redwood employs approximately 109 employees in its neighborhoods statewide.   

Every year, Redwood continues to evolve its programs aimed at employee education, appreciation, and recognition.
