Redwood Named Best Overall Operator in 2024 Resident Choice Awards
Company Achieves Top Rankings in All Key Resident Experience Categories
The results are in and for the third consecutive year Redwood led the way in the 2024 Resident Choice Awards, taking home the Best Overall Operator award.
Presented by Opiniion, this prestigious recognition reflects Redwood’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional resident experiences across its portfolio.
The Resident Choice Awards are determined through comprehensive analysis of resident feedback across various interactions, including tours, move-ins, move-outs, and maintenance requests. Redwood secured the top position in the Premier Operators category (10,000+ units) and achieved first-place rankings in nearly all key resident experience categories:
- Best in Move-In: 1st place
- Best in Move-Out: 1st place
- Best in Maintenance: 1st place
- Best in Tours: 3rd place

No matter the size, location or amenities offered, every rental community has the chance to be ranked. Opiniion analyzes a year’s worth of feedback through a comprehensive scoring algorithm to determine the rankings.
Multiple individual Redwood Neighborhoods also delivered impressive performances.

- No. 8: Redwood Vandalia in Dayton, Ohio
- No. 9: Redwood Lockport in Lockport, Illinois
- No. 12: Redwood South Lebanon in Lebanon, Ohio
- No. 14: Redwood Kannapolis Parkway in Kannopolis, North Carolina
- No. 16: Redwood Rochester Hills in Rochester Hills, Michigan
- No. 18: Redwood Portage in Portage, Michigan
- No. 19: Redwood Chardon in Chardon, Ohio
- No. 20: Redwood Obetz in Groveport, Ohio
- No. 21: Redwood Greer Ashburton Drive in Greer, South Carolina
While many others ranked high for Best Move-Out:
- No. 4: Redwood Dublin in Dublin, Ohio
- No. 7: Redwood Lockport in Lockport, Illinois
