Redwood Living, Inc. Launches New Philanthropic Initiative to Support Charities Chosen by Stakeholders
Cleveland, Ohio – May 19, 2022 – Redwood Living, Inc. (Redwood) is thrilled to announce its newest effort to support the communities in which it operates: a program called Redwood Cares. Redwood describes the program as a multifaceted effort that is divided into specific focus areas—all tied to the goal of delivering on the promise of a remarkable experience for all stakeholders.
“At Redwood, we believe all we do centers around our commitment to service. Service to our Redwood Ambassadors—whether they work at Redwood, help us realize our mission & vision in another way, or live at one of our neighborhoods—service to our communities, our environment, and more,” says Jill Silloway, Redwood President.
Redwood is proud and excited to launch the first of many Redwood Cares initiatives, benefiting the charitable organizations that matter most to Redwood Ambassadors inside and outside the company.
About Redwood Cares
During the month of May, a group of Redwood’s key stakeholders, including employees, investors and residents, have been asked to nominate a charity that is personally meaningful. Each nomination will include an essay detailing the reason the organization should be supported by Redwood.
In June, a committee will evaluate all nominations company wide, and determine which charities the company will support. The chosen organizations will receive a monetary donation from Redwood, but also the full support of the people who power Redwood—in the form of volunteer hours, promotion and more. It is the goal of the program to forge true partnerships with worthy organizations that are meaningful to Redwood Ambassadors.
