Redwood Delaware Addison Farms to feature 281 new single-story apartment homes

In the coming weeks, residents will begin moving into Redwood’s second Delaware-area neighborhood – Redwood Delaware Addison Farms.

The neighborhood will be developed in two phases, with 146 single-story apartments in phase one and 135 in phase two. Residents can choose from 10 different floor plans that range in size from 1,294-1,709 square feet. Redwood estimates that phase one will be completed in 2026 and phase two in the spring of 2028.

In addition to the signature single-story layouts, living in a Redwood Neighborhood feels more like home thanks to:

  • Attached two-car garages
  • Spacious, eat-in kitchens with large pantries
  • Open floor plans
  • Large closets
  • Washer and dryer hookups
  • Full-size appliances
  • Vaulted ceilings
  • Upgraded finishes and features
  • Extra living space, commonly used for an at-home office or personal gym
  • Pet-friendly accommodations – residents are permitted up to three pets + the neighborhood features a pet wash station
  • Private entrances with individual street addresses
  • Personal patios
  • Attentive on-site management and maintenance teams

Redwood provides a fully maintenance-free lifestyle, 365 days a year. Exterior upkeep, snow removal, landscaping and routine repairs are fully managed by on-site professionals, with scheduled preventive care performed each season. This commitment ensures residents can focus on the things they want to do—while enjoying the peace of mind that comes with reliable support.

Introducing Smart, Connected Living

Every apartment home at Redwood Delaware Addison Farms will also feature smart home technology, including smart locks, Ring doorbell cameras, smart thermostats, leak detection devices, and the ability to open the front or garage door directly from a smartphone. This marks the first Redwood Neighborhood to offer this comprehensive smart home technology package, setting a new standard for comfort, convenience and peace of mind.

“We are thrilled to add our single-story rental option to the Addison Farms development, expanding our footprint in Delaware and at the same time introducing residents to some enhanced amenities,” said Taylor Haley, VP of Property Operations at Redwood. “We continuously listen to resident feedback and evolve to meet their preferences—whether that means incorporating new technology, refining our designs or expanding where people want to live. With Redwood, residents gain not just a place to live, but a true sense of home and community.”

Monthly rent at Redwood Delaware Addison Farms will start at $2,199 and interested residents can begin the leasing process online. The neighborhood is conveniently located in Addison Farms at 60 Gooseberry Drive, just minutes from historic downtown Delaware, Delaware State Park, Delaware Lake and Delaware County Fairgrounds.

Since 1991, Redwood has been reinventing the traditional apartment rental experience. The company has developed more than 20,000 single-story apartment homes and manages 150+ neighborhoods throughout the Midwest and Carolinas.
