Independence, Ohio – February 7, 2023 – Ohio-based developer and manager of single-story apartment homes, Redwood Living, Inc., will soon open its 11th neighborhood in southwest Ohio in Vandalia.
Construction is underway for Redwood Vandalia, a brand-new neighborhood that will feature 171 single-story apartment homes ranging in size from 1,326-1,620 square feet.
“Vandalia is an ideal community to continue Redwood’s expansion in the Dayton market,” said Mitch Ogle, Director of Property Operations at Redwood. “This location specifically strikes a perfect balance by offering a quiet neighborhood setting that is still within minutes of popular city amenities, such as Charleston Falls Preserve, Benchwood Station, Montgomery County Bark Park and the city’s state-of-the-art recreation center. Residents will also appreciate easy highway and airport access.”
Redwood Vandalia will offer seven floor plans, each with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a two-car attached garage and ample storage. Quality construction combined with Redwood’s signature single-story design provide built-in peace and quiet. Residents also feel at home with their own dedicated street address, private entrance and personal patio.

The new neighborhood will be completed in two phases, with 106 of the apartment homes slated for phase one. The first residents are expected to move in by early March.
Redwood Vandalia is located at 7212 Redwood Forest Drive, near the corner of Webster and Park Center Drive.
Redwood is currently pre-leasing for this neighborhood and is arranging tours for prospective residents at its Tipp City location. Monthly rent will start at $1,799.
